Srinagar, July 24: In view of the heavy rainfall and widespread waterlogging affecting several parts of Srinagar, the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) has established an Emergency Coordination Desk to assist traders, MSMEs, and residents impacted by the prevailing weather conditions.
The initiative has been launched under the leadership of KTMF Chairman Abrar Khan and President Hilal Ahmad Mandu, with the federation’s senior office-bearers directly overseeing helpline operations and coordinating relief efforts on the ground.
According to the federation, it is working in close coordination with the district administration and the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, to facilitate de-watering operations and ensure timely assistance to affected individuals and businesses.
KTMF said the Emergency Coordination Desk will serve as a point of contact for people requiring support or wishing to report urgent issues arising from waterlogging and flooding in the city.
