Kashmir fruit growers’ union condoles demise of Dr Mustafa Kamal

SRINAGAR, July 15: The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union (KVFG) on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the demise of senior National Conference leader Dr Mustafa Kamal, describing his passing as a great loss.

In a condolence message issued here, the union extended its sympathies to the bereaved family, the National Conference leadership and all those mourning his death. Dr Kamal was the uncle of Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

The umbrella body representing fruit growers’ associations across the Kashmir Valley said its thoughts and prayers were with the family during this difficult time and prayed for strength and patience for them to bear the loss.

The union also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul, seeking Almighty Allah’s mercy and the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. It expressed hope that the bereaved family would be granted Sabr-e-Jameel (fortitude and patience).

KVFG Chairman Bashir Ahmad Basheer also conveyed the organisation’s deepest condolences to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other members of the bereaved family.
