Srinagar, June 15: A delegation of the Jammu & Kashmir Iran Medical Students Parents Association (JKIMSPA), led by its president Suhail Qadri, called on Manoj Sinha on Monday and discussed issues concerning students pursuing MBBS courses in various universities in Iran.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Lieutenant Governor of concerns related to the academic and welfare interests of students from Jammu & Kashmir studying in Iranian medical institutions. The issues raised primarily pertained to students enrolled in MBBS programmes across different universities in Iran.
The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to the delegation and took note of the matters highlighted by the association. The JKIMSPA delegation sought support and intervention on issues affecting the students and their families.
The meeting was part of a series of interactions being held by the Lieutenant Governor with various delegations and stakeholders from across Jammu & Kashmir to address public concerns and sector-specific issues.
