Srinagar, June 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Government has extended the deadline for submission of Annual Property Returns (APRs) on the Property Return System (PRS) portal by seven days, providing additional time to employees who failed to file their returns within the prescribed timeline.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department (Vigilance) on June 25, all employees of the Jammu & Kashmir Government had earlier been advised to file their property returns for the year 2025 on the PRS portal between January 1 and January 31, 2026, in accordance with Circular No. 26-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated December 17, 2025.
The department noted that a number of employees had either failed to submit their property returns within the stipulated timelines and subsequent extensions or had registered on the portal but did not complete the submission process, resulting in default of the mandatory requirement.
“In view of these defaults, the timeline for submission of property returns by defaulting employees through the online mode on the Property Return System (PRS) portal has been extended by a period of seven days from the date of issuance of this notification,” the order stated.
The notification further advised employees facing issues related to One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to update their current mobile numbers and email IDs on the CPIS portal. For other technical issues or support requirements, employees have been asked to submit their concerns through the designated support email for prompt redressal.
The notification was issued by Rahul Sharma, JKAS, Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Vigilance).
