Force Motors Launches 2026 Traveller N Range in Srinagar; Jamie Power Unveils Upgraded Passenger Vehicle

Srinagar, June 20: Force Motors on Saturday launched its all-new 2026 Traveller N Range in Srinagar through its authorised dealer, Jamie Power Private Limited, introducing a redesigned and technologically upgraded version of its popular people mover used extensively in Kashmir’s transport sector.

The vehicle was unveiled by Chairman of Jamie Group, Abdul Rashid Jamie, in the presence of Regional Transport Officer Kashmir, Qazi Irfan; J&K Bank Zonal Head, Sheikh Mohammad Muzaffar; Force Motors Regional Manager Gagandeep S. Behl; and Business Manager C.B. Joshi.

Addressing the gathering, Managing Director of Jamie Power Private Limited, Ovees Qadir Jamie, said the new Traveller N Range has completely replaced the previous-generation models and is available in multiple variants catering to passenger transport, ambulances, delivery vans and school buses.

He said the Force Traveller has remained a dominant product in Kashmir’s shared mobility segment for several years and that the latest version incorporates feedback from owners, drivers and passengers to enhance comfort, usability, reliability and operational efficiency.

“The new Traveller N Range builds upon the trust earned by the Force Traveller over the years and is now more refined, capable and aligned with modern customer expectations,” he said.

According to the company, the Traveller has retained a market share of more than 70 per cent in its segment and has been in service for over four decades across a variety of applications.

The 2026 Traveller N Range features a redesigned cabin with a car-like cockpit, digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen. Passenger comfort has been improved through ergonomically designed seating, reduced noise and vibration levels and an upgraded heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system.

The vehicle also sports a redesigned exterior with LED daytime running lamps, LED turn indicators and a refreshed rear profile.

Force Motors said the model incorporates engineering improvements, including a reworked sheet metal structure with fewer body joints, advanced robotic manufacturing processes and automated door-hemming technology to enhance structural integrity and build quality.

The new range is powered by the FM 2.6 CR engine compliant with BS-VI Stage-II emission norms and is designed to provide improved fuel efficiency, reliability and lower operating costs.

The vehicle is backed by the company’s Force Care support programme, which includes extended warranty, parts warranty, accidental repair coverage and roadside assistance. It also comes equipped with the iPulse connected vehicle platform offering real-time tracking, diagnostics and operational insights.

Company officials said the launch reflects Force Motors’ efforts to strengthen its presence in Jammu and Kashmir through its dealer network and expand mobility solutions for commercial and passenger transport operators in the region.
