Srinagar, March 7: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC&I) on Friday congratulated 17 candidates from Jammu and Kashmir who successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination (CSE)–2025, the results of which were recently declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
In a statement issued here, the Chamber expressed pride over the achievement of the young aspirants, stating that their success has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir through their dedication, perseverance and hard work.
KCC&I said the accomplishment of these candidates is a moment of pride not only for their families but for the entire region. According to the merit list released by the UPSC, the successful candidates from Jammu and Kashmir include Suvan Sharma (Rank 148), Sugandha Gupta (Rank 207), Towseef Ganie (Rank 254), Ritika (Rank 456), Sooyash Shivam (Rank 572), Muneeb Parrah (Rank 581), Ghulam Din (Rank 683), Dwarka Gaadhi (Rank 721), Akash (Rank 747), Koh E Safa (Rank 763), Yasaar (Rank 811), Abhishek (Rank 820), Pankaj (Rank 856), Mohammad Ajaz (Rank 869), Azhar (Rank 886), Sarfraz (Rank 936), and Irfan Ahmad Lone (Rank 957).
The Chamber particularly appreciated the achievement of Irfan Ahmad Lone, a 100 percent visually impaired candidate from Naidkhai in Sonawari area of Bandipora district, who cleared the prestigious examination. KCC&I described his success as an extraordinary example of determination and resilience that will inspire many young people across the region.
The Chamber said qualifying one of the country’s most prestigious and competitive examinations reflects the determination and intellectual capabilities of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. It added that such achievements serve as a source of inspiration for thousands of aspirants in the region who aspire to serve the nation through civil services.
KCC&I also expressed hope that the successful candidates will contribute meaningfully to governance, policy-making and public administration while upholding the highest standards of integrity and public service.
The Chamber acknowledged the role played by families, teachers and mentors who support aspirants throughout the demanding preparation process, noting that their encouragement and sacrifices are crucial in shaping the success of young achievers.
The Chamber wished all the successful candidates a bright and impactful career in public service and expressed confidence that they will serve the nation with dedication and commitment while continuing to make Jammu and Kashmir proud.
