TAAK hails reopening of 11 tourists spots

Srinagar: Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) has welcomed the security clearance for reopening of the some offbeat places including Doodpathri and Yusmarg .

In a statement, TAAK President Mr Farooq A Kuthoo said this is a big positive development for the people of Kashmir in general and tourism industry in particular.

Mr Kuthoo said had left back disappointed earlier due to closer of these places.

“Many tourists wanted to visit Doodhpathri, Yusmarg like offbeat places which remained shut for visitors. Security clearance will not only boost moral of the tourists to visit Kashmir but will send a strong message across that Kashmir is safe and ready to welcome travelers with extra security arrangements,” said Kuthoo.

While appreciating , LG Shree Manj Sinha for such big news, TAAK expressed optimism that other places like Aharbal, Sinthantop, Bangus, Tosamaidan, Kashmir Great Lakes should also be reopened.
