Srinagar, Jan 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club (JKHC) on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of the uncle of Farooq Ahmed Hafiz, President of the Hoteliers Club Sonamarg and owner of Snow Land Hotel and Resorts, and father-in-law of Tariq Ahmad Hafiz.
JKHC Chairman, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, in his condolence message, extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. He also prayed for strength, patience, and courage for the family members to bear the irreparable loss.
Describing the demise as an irreparable loss, JKHC Secretary General, Tariq Ghani, said that words fall short in consoling the family during this moment of profound grief. He added that the entire hospitality fraternity stands in solidarity with Farooq Ahmed Hafiz and Tariq Ahmad Hafiz.
Office bearers and members of the JKHC, including the Gulmarg and Pahalgam chapters, also expressed condolences and conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family.
A condolence meeting was also held by members of the J&K Hoteliers Club to pay tribute to the departed soul and to express collective solidarity with the Hafiz family during this time of mourning.
