Several Flights From Srinagar Airport Cancelled; Passengers Urged to Reconfirm

Srinagar, Dec 17: Srinagar Airport (SXR) on Wednesday announced the cancellation of four departures scheduled for the day, advising affected passengers to reconfirm their travel status with the respective airlines before proceeding to the airport.

The airport advisory lists the following cancelled flights:

• 6E 6164 (IndiGo) — 09:00 — Amritsar — Reason: Bad weather at ATQ (Amritsar).

• 6E 6962 (IndiGo) — 18:45 — Kolkata — Reason: Operational reasons.

• SG 180 (SpiceJet) — 13:30 — Delhi — Reason: Operational reasons.

• SG 160 (SpiceJet) — 17:45 — Delhi — Reason: Operational reasons.

Srinagar Airport asked travellers to “kindly reconfirm your flight status with the airline before heading to the airport” and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to contact their airline’s customer service for rebooking options, refunds or further assistance.
