Srinagar: 27 Nov: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Thursday issued a fresh order announcing key administrative transfers and postings across departments, with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 1555-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Syed Qamar Sajad, JKAS, presently serving as Managing Director of the J&K Cable Car Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir.
In addition to his new assignment, Mr Sajad will continue to hold the charge of Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation until further orders.
Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, who was awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Director, Command Area Development (CAD), Jammu. His posting fills an available vacancy in the department.
The order was issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju (IAS), and circulated to all Financial Commissioners and the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister for necessary action.
