SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers cum Dealers Union and the New Kashmir Fruits Association Srinagar have strongly condemned the devastating car blast near Delhi’s historic Red Fort, terming it a highly deplorable and inhumane act that has claimed several innocent lives and injured many others.
In a statement, the Union described the blast as a cowardly attempt to disturb peace and harmony in the country. The horrific explosion, it said, has “shocked the nation and caused immense fear and grief.”
Chairman of the Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers cum Dealers Union, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Basheer, who also serves as President of the New Kashmir Fruits Association, expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. “We extend our prayers for the swift recovery of all those injured and for courage and strength to the bereaved families,” he said.
Mr. Basheer added that acts of terror and violence have no place in a civilized society, urging authorities to ensure that the perpetrators are swiftly identified and brought to justice.
The Union, representing thousands of fruit growers and traders across the Valley, reaffirmed its commitment to peace, harmony, and national unity, stating that such heinous acts will never succeed in undermining the spirit of the people.
