Kashmir Fruit Growers Union Mourns Nowgam Victims, Holds Two-Minute Silence in Solidarity

Srinagar, Nov 15: The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union, along with the New Kashmir Fruit Association, on Saturday expressed deep grief and shock over the accidental blast at Nowgam Police Station that claimed multiple lives and left several others injured.

In a statement issued to Ziraat Times, KVFG Union Chairman Bashir Ahmad Basheer conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of all fruit growers of the Valley to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy. He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.

Calling the incident a “tragic loss of precious human lives,” Basheer said the entire fruit-growing community stands in solidarity with the bereaved families during this difficult time.

As a mark of respect, the Union held a two-minute silence during its condolence meeting. Prayers were offered not only for the victims of the Nowgam accident but also for those killed in the recent Delhi blast.

Basheer said the Union prays for strength and courage for affected families and hopes that all injured receive timely and adequate medical care to ensure their speedy recovery.

He reiterated that the tragedy has deeply saddened the community and underscored the need for collective support for the victims’ families.
