MoFPI issues RFP; bids to be submitted by December 19, 2025
New Delhi, Nov 25: The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting reputed consulting firms and expert institutions to undertake a comprehensive national study on post-harvest losses of agricultural produce in India.
The study is expected to generate updated, data-driven insights into the scale and nature of losses occurring across various stages of the agricultural supply chain — from harvesting and storage to transport and marketing — with the aim of informing future policy and infrastructure interventions.
Interested bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹21 lakh, payable through a Demand Draft in favour of the Pay & Accounts Officer, MoFPI, New Delhi. A scanned copy of the Demand Draft is required to be uploaded along with the bid on the Central Public Procurement Portal as proof of payment.
The Ministry has set December 19, 2025, as the deadline for submitting complete technical and financial bids.
The RFP outlines the full scope of work, bidder eligibility criteria, evaluation methodology, and formats for proposal submission. It is available for download on:
