New Delhi: The second day of the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025) turned into a hub of innovation and enterprise as PitchX @ ESTIC 2025 brought together India’s most promising DeepTech startups and leading investors under one roof.
More than 20 pioneering startups presented their technologies before distinguished investors from PeakXV, Yournest, FAST India, IIMA Ventures, and Silver Needle Ventures (SNV) Fund, highlighting India’s accelerating momentum in DeepTech entrepreneurship and its focus on translating cutting-edge research into scalable market solutions.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh underscored the need for early industry linkages and sustained investor engagement to strengthen the innovation ecosystem. Referring to the recently launched ₹1 Lakh Crore Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme, Dr. Singh said the initiative would incentivize private sector participation and play a pivotal role in fueling India’s DeepTech revolution.
“The RDI Scheme will bridge the gap between science and industry by empowering innovators and entrepreneurs to bring indigenous technologies to the global market,” Dr. Singh said.
Secretary, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Prof. Abhay Karandikar, elaborated on the operational framework of the RDI Scheme and announced that DST and the Technology Development Board (TDB) would soon deploy initial investments to support DeepTech startups in sunrise sectors.
The DeepTech Startup Showcase featured 30 breakthrough startups nominated by various Government Ministries and Departments. These startups represented frontier technology domains including Space & Defence, Quantum Technologies, Cybersecurity, Health & Life Sciences, Semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, AgriTech, and Water Technologies — reflecting the Government’s commitment to research-driven innovation, IP creation, and global competitiveness.
Among the standout participants were EndureAir Systems, Atreya Innovations, Lifespark Technologies, Noccarc Robotics, and FortyTwo Labs, which drew strong investor interest for their scalable solutions and global market potential. The conclave also placed a strong emphasis on women-led startups, reinforcing India’s inclusive vision for technology-driven growth.
