Srinagar: Under the golden hues of autumn, as the valley prepares for winter, the historic Amar Singh Club in Srinagar is set to open its doors to colours, emotions, and dreams through an art exhibition titled “Art & Soul: An Exhibition of Kashmir’s Creative.”

The event, scheduled for Saturday, 11 October 2025, will commence at 1 p.m. and continue till late evening at the club’s 12,000 sq. ft. exhibition space. The venue will be transformed into a sanctuary of expression, showcasing a vibrant collection of paintings and photographs created by both eminent and emerging Kashmiri artists.

According to the organizers, the exhibition aims to celebrate the artistic soul of Kashmir while offering a platform for creative minds to connect, collaborate, and share their visions. The initiative stands out for its inclusive and philanthropic spirit—the space is being offered free of cost to participating artists, emphasizing that “art must never be caged by cost, but carried by hearts that believe in its light.”

Visitors can expect a diverse display of visual art that captures the essence of Kashmir’s landscapes, emotions, and stories, each frame whispering “a part of our collective soul.” The exhibition encourages the community to come together, celebrate creativity, and support the local art ecosystem before the onset of winter.

Nasir Hamid Khan, Secretary of Amar Singh Club, who is leading the initiative, emphasized that the event is not just an exhibition but a celebration of community and creativity. “We hope to keep the fire of creativity alive and build a space where every brushstroke finds belonging,” he said.
