SBI to Hire Specialist Cadre Officers on Contractual Basis. Here is How to Apply

Mumbai: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the re-opening of its registration window for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a contractual basis. The fresh application window will remain open from September 15 to September 29, 2025.

According to the revised advertisement (CRPD/SCO/2025-26/05), the vacancies include:

• General Manager (IS Audit): 01 post

• Assistant Vice President (IS Audit): 14 posts

Both positions are contractual in nature.

SBI clarified that candidates who had already applied during the earlier registration period (July 11 to August 7, 2025) are not required to apply again. Only those who have not applied earlier—or those applying under modified eligibility criteria—may submit their applications under the revised notification.

Applicants must be eligible Indian citizens and can access detailed information regarding eligibility, age, experience, job profile, vacancies, and fees on the official SBI careers portal at https://bank.sbi/web/careers/current-openings.

Online submission of applications, along with payment of fees, will be accepted exclusively through the portal until September 29, 2025. For clarifications, candidates may use the “Contact Us” then “Post Your Query” section available on the same website.

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen SBI’s audit and compliance functions by engaging highly skilled professionals under its Specialist Cadre framework.
