Srinagar: The Regal Chowk Traders Association (RCTA), in its Executive body meeting held recently, has unanimously selected Farhan Kitab as the President of RCTA. This decision reflects the united trust and confidence of all members in his leadership, experience, and unwavering commitment to the trade community, a statement issued to Ziraat Times said.
Mr. Kitab has consistently advocated for the rights and interests of traders across various platforms and has been instrumental in voicing key concerns of the business community, the statement added. Under his leadership, RCTA aims to further strengthen trader unity, enhance coordination with government departments, and address challenges faced by local businesses, the statement further said.
Importantly, RCTA will continue to work and coordinate with surrounding markets, where the dignity and honour of a “Dukandar” will be our topmost priority. The association remains committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment for every shopkeeper and trader, the association has said.
In his address, Farhan Kitab has thanked all members for their overwhelming support and assured them of a proactive and transparent approach in representing their issues. He emphasized collective decision-making and regular consultations to ensure inclusive development of the market.
The RCTA looks forward to a productive and united tenure ahead, with a focus on trader welfare, infrastructural improvements, and a thriving business atmosphere in and around Regal Chowk.
