Kashmir Valley Stationery Trade Association joins KTMF faction

Srinagar: The All Kashmir Valley Stationery Super Stockists, Distributors & Dealers Association has officially joined the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) Regd, a faction whose President is Hilal Mandoo and Chairman Abrar Khan.

According to a statement issued to Ziraat Times, the affiliation was formalized during a meeting attended by top KTMF leadership, including Chairman Abrar Khan, President Hilal Mandoo, Senior Vice President Sofi Mohi-ud-Din, and Chief Advisor Dr. Touseef Ahmed. This development is expected to amplify the voice of the stationery sector while strengthening KTMF’s representation across broader segments of general trade.

The Stationery Association, which comprises a wide network of super stockists, distributors, and dealers from across the Kashmir Valley, brings with it an experienced leadership team:

  • President: Sajeel Majid Wani

  • Vice President: Irshad Ahmad Wani

  • General Secretary: Khan Sarwar

  • Chief Advisor: Faisal Farooq Bhat

  • Organiser: Showkat Ahmad Bhat

  • Treasurer: Imran Ali Bhat

Welcoming the development, Dr. Touseef Ahmed described the affiliation as a “landmark moment” for KTMF. “This is a big boost to our collective mission. The inclusion of the stationery association strengthens our advocacy capabilities, and we remain committed to highlighting the challenges faced by the general trade community while pursuing sustainable solutions with relevant authorities,” he said.

The move is expected to enhance KTMF’s ability to address key trade concerns, such as regulatory bottlenecks, market access, and the broader economic environment. The expertise of the stationery association will also contribute to KTMF’s initiatives aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), promoting ethical business practices, and building economic resilience in the region.

KTMF President Hilal Mandoo and Chairman Abrar Khan also expressed optimism about the collaboration, reaffirming the federation’s commitment to uniting diverse trade sectors under a shared platform for economic progress.

Other KTMF members present at the occasion included Javeed Ahmad Najar, Mohd Yaseen Bhat, Sajad Ahmad Ahanger, Waseem Ahmad, Nadeem Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad Bhat, and Danish Elahi.
