Terror has no place in our land: Doodhpathri tourism stakeholders condemn Pahalgam carnage

Doodhpathri: The Doodhpathri Tourism Stakeholder Association has strongly condemned today’s terror attack in Pahalgam, describing it as a cowardly and senseless act that claimed innocent lives and disrupted the region’s peace.

In a statement issued to Ziraat Times on Monday, the association —comprising local tourism operators, business owners, and civil society members — expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the victims and their families. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragic incident,” the statement said.

The group emphasized that the attack was not just a threat to individual safety but a broader attempt to destabilize the spirit of unity, harmony, and resilience that characterizes the people of Jammu & Kashmir.

“We stand in complete solidarity with our tourist brothers and sisters and reaffirm our commitment to peace and development,” the statement added.

The Doodhpathri stakeholders urged authorities to ensure swift justice by apprehending the perpetrators and called for strengthened measures to protect both citizens and tourists across the region.

“Terror has no place in our land,” the association declared. “We remain united in our pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous future for all.”
