Srinagar: Socio-environmental activist Dr. Touseef Ahmed has been conferred the JK Garav Samman 2025 Award in recognition of his exemplary efforts toward environmental conservation and social upliftment. The award ceremony, held on 6 April 2025 at SKICC, Srinagar, celebrated Dr. Touseef Ahmed’s dedication to creating sustainable change in Jammu & Kashmir and beyond.

The JK Garav Samman is a recognition that honors individuals who have made notable contributions to society, culture, and the environment.

Upon receiving the award, Dr. Touseef Ahmed expressed his gratitude, stating, “This recognition is not just a personal honor but a testament to the collective efforts of everyone working toward a greener and more just world.
