Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted search operations at six different locations across the Union Territory in connection with Case FIR No. 01/2025, registered at Police Station ACB Central. The searches were carried out after obtaining warrants from the competent court.
The case pertains to irregularities in the selection process of Fireman/Fireman Drivers in the Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Department. The ACB initiated the investigation following allegations of misconduct and corruption in the recruitment process.
During the searches, officials seized electronic gadgets, incriminating documents, and other crucial evidence from the residences, office premises, and government quarters of the accused individuals.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and further developments are expected as evidence is analyzed.
