Eakhil Vidyalia Foundation along with Sewa Bharti J&K hold anti-drugs program

Srinagar: The Eakhil Vidyalia Foundation India, under the banner of Sewa Bharti UT J&K,  inaugurated an awareness program addressing the critical issue of drug abuse and its associated complications in the village of Khankhansach, Tral, within District Pulwama. This initiative was led by Ekhal Kashap Sambahag Incharge, Engineer Fayaz Ahmad Mir, along with Community Health Officer And Riyaz Ahmad, who delivered impactful lectures on the alarming realities of drug addiction.

This program convened a diverse group of stakeholders invested in combating substance abuse in the area. Participants unanimously underscored the importance of sustained educational efforts and advocated for the replication of such initiatives across other district headquarters. A collective voice emerged, calling for the designation of the village as both tobacco-free and drug addiction-free, reflecting the community’s unwavering commitment to creating a healthier living environment.

The Eakhil Vidyalia Foundation India pledges its continued support for these essential initiatives aimed at raising awareness and combating drug abuse, as well as fostering a drug-free society throughout the regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
