
Tbilisi, Georgia: Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Jammu Chapter and a prominent business leader from Jammu & Kashmir, was honored with a Business Leadership Award by the Dainik Jagran Group at a ceremony in Tbilisi, Georgia. Accompanying him was his wife, Rupika Sahai, Director of the Sahai Group of Companies, who was also recognized for her contributions to the business landscape.
The award acknowledged Rahul Sahai’s leadership, his impact on the business and industrial sector of J&K, and his role in promoting growth and innovation. Sahai has served as Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K Council, Chairman of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), and now leads the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Jammu Chapter.
In his speech, Rahul Sahai dedicated the award to the memory of his late father, Ram Sahai, and expressed gratitude to his family, especially his wife Rupika and daughters Riddhi and Akaisha, for their support.
He also thanked Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for their visionary leadership and support of the industrial fraternity,” Sahai remarked.
Sahai also highlighted the strength of India’s growing economy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reflected on the success of the G20 meeting held in Kashmir. He extended an invitation to business leaders from India and Georgia to visit J&K to explore mutually beneficial business opportunities.
The ceremony also paid tribute to the 11 Indians who tragically lost their lives in a Georgian ski resort.
The event was attended by dignitaries from the Georgian government, adding an international dimension to the celebration.
