Srinagar: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is all set to organize the first edition of the International Apple Conclave titled “Restart, Grow, Aspire” on December 20, 2024, at SKUAST Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar.
This event marks another milestone in CII’s efforts to empower farmers and boost apple cultivation across India, organisers who spoke to Ziraat Times said.
The conclave aims to bring together key stakeholders, including industry experts, growers, and policymakers, to address critical aspects of the apple industry. Key discussions will focus on the growing trend of commercial apple cultivation with modern techniques, exploring export opportunities, and understanding the investment scenario in Jammu and Kashmir, Rafia Siddiqui, head of CII Kashmir said.
Building on its successful legacy of Apple Conclaves in Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar, this international platform is expected to encourage innovation and collaboration to strengthen the apple industry’s infrastructure, ensuring better yield and market reach for farmers, organisers said.
