Srinagar: The Regal Chowk Traders Association (RCTA) has extended its heartfelt thanks to the Smart City Ltd administration for installing an ATM at Regal Chowk, fulfilling a long standing demand of traders and visitors in the area. This initiative is expected to greatly ease transactions for shoppers and traders alike, enhancing the convenience of the market.
However, RCTA has also highlighted the non-functional state of the public washroom in the area, which has been causing significant inconvenience to visitors and vendors. Farhan Kitab, President of RCTA, emphasized this issue during a recent meeting with the CEO of Smart City, urging immediate action to make the facility operational.
Additionally, Mr. Kitab proposed the installation of green bush plants around Regal Chowk, which will be maintained by RCTA. This initiative aims to beautify the market area and create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and tourists.
The RCTA appreciates the continued efforts of the Smart City administration in addressing the concerns of the business community and remains optimistic about further collaboration to enhance the market’s infrastructure and aesthetics.
