Budgam, Oct 30: Miscreants have damaged several walnut trees and risked properties of three land owners at village Nagbal, Yusmarg, district Budgam, by illegally using a JCB bulldozer for extracting soil.
The residents affected by the illegal soil extraction have appealed to DC Budgam to look into the matter and take action against the persons who have illegally used bulldozer on privately-owned land during night time to extract soil.
The soil extraction has come in violation of court orders, for which the affected residents have decided to approach the authorities for legal action.
A Revenue Department official said that they would initiate an inquiry on how this violation and the violation of court orders have taken place.
