Srinagar, Nov 10: Dr Ram Madhav, who has been a key strategist and negotiator for BJP in J&K, is billed to be new Lieutenant Governor of J&K, unconfirmed reports said.
Ram Madhav has recently rejoined the BJP key staretgy group on J&K after his stint back at his parent organisation, the Rashtriya Swayemsevak Sangh (RSS).
This development of his appointment as J&K LG could not be immediately independently confirmed.
The BJP on August 20, 2024 appointed former party general secretary Ram Madhav as election in-charge for the Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir. He had also handled the State in the past on behalf of the BJP and was instrumental in the BJP forming a coalition government in 2015 along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
