Srinagar, Sept 14: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) has invited applications from its members for participation in the prestigious AF-L’Artigiano in Fiera 2024 — an International Crafts Selling Exhibition to be held in Milan, Italy from November 30 to December 8, 2024. This exhibition is recognized as the world’s most significant business-to-consumer (B2C) event for crafts and small businesses, offering participants a unique opportunity to showcase their products to a global audience, KCCI General Secretary, Faiz Bakshi said.
With over 3,000 stands and more than one million expected visitors, the exhibition will feature participation from 100 countries. “It provides an ideal platform for artisans to directly engage with consumers, promote their products, and test new markets. The event will be hosted in Hall No. 10, with booth options available in 9 sqm and 12 sqm sizes, including basic stand construction with amenities”, KCCI said in a statement on Saturday.
Participation costs are tentatively set at Rs. 2,70,000 for MAI (Market Access Initiative) subsidized rentals and Rs. 4,80,000 for non-MAI rentals for a 12 sqm booth.
To qualify for the MAI subsidy, participants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including possessing a valid IEC, 6-digit HS Code, and other required documentation.
