Govt orders transfer of 2 IAS officers in J&K

SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s General Administration Department (Services) has ordered key administrative transfers and postings, effective immediately.

Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who was serving as the Administrative Secretary for the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, has been transferred to the position of Administrative Secretary for the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department.

In a related move, Mohammad Aijaz, the current Administrative Secretary for the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, has been transferred to the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.

He will continue to hold his additional charges as Administrative Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department, Public Grievances, Civil Aviation Commissioner, and Chief Executive Officer of the J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency until further notice. The transfer orders were issued by the office of the Lieutenant Governor.
