Srinagar, Aug 14: The Power Development Department (PDD) has announced major leadership changes with the appointment of new Chief Engineers and subsequent new postings and transfers within the department.
Several experienced Superintending Engineers (Electrical) have been promoted to the position of In-charge Chief Engineers (Electrical), effective immediately.
New Chief Engineers Appointed
The appointees are:
- Mumtaz Ahmad
- Habib Choudhary
- Kamal Kishore Thappa
- Neeraj Sharma
- Bishan Dass
- Muzaffar Lone
- Vikas Anand
As per the government order, a copy of which has been received by Ziraat Times, these placements are temporary and subject to the outcome of any pending legal challenges.
Transfers and Postings
Consequent to the above promotions, the following transfers and postings of In-charge Chief Engineers have been ordered:
- Raheela Wani: Transferred to I/C CE (Transmission Kashmir), JKPTCL with additional charge of MD, JKPTCL.
- Rajan Gupta: Transferred to I/C CE (P&P), JPDCL with additional charge of ED (Electrical), JKPDC.
- Vikas Anand: Promoted to I/C CE (Transmission Jammu), JKPTCL.
- Kamal Kishore Thappa: Promoted to I/C CE (Distribution), JPDCL, Jammu.
- Bishan Dass: Promoted to I/C CE (BHEP-1), JKPDC.
- Muzaffar Lone: Promoted to Secretary Technical, PDD.
- Mumtaz Ahmad: Promoted to I/C CE (P&P) KPDCL.
- Habib Choudhary: Promoted to I/C CE (Generation Kashmir), JKPDC.
- Neeraj Sharma: Promoted to I/C CE (Trading), JKPCL.
These changes are effective immediately.
