Induction program for newly-recruited mechanical engineers held by JKMEGA

Srinagar, June 8: The Jammu & Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) organized a training and induction program for newly recruited mechanical engineers. This event was held at the auditorium of the Mechanical & Hospital Engineering Department in Shalteng, Srinagar, and saw significant participation from both new recruits and senior mechanical engineers within the region.

The program encompassed a broad array of critical topics essential for the professional growth of mechanical engineers. These topics included Roles and Assessments, Basic Ethics and Etiquette, Departmental Goals, Policies, and Processes, Introduction to Hierarchy, Teamwork, Basic Service Rules, and other pivotal aspects of professional engineering practice.
The programme was inaugurated by Er. Manga Ram, Chief Engineer of the Mechanical & Hospital Engineering Department, Kashmir. The keynote address was delivered by Er. Rashid Ahmad Dar, Chief Engineer (Retd.).
Er. Ferdous Ahad Bhat, President of JKMEGA, emphasized the association’s commitment to fostering the professional development of engineers, which ultimately enhances service delivery and benefits society as a whole.

The event was coordinated by Er. Binyamin Thakur, Provincial Secretary of JKMEGA, while Er. Mohammad Iqbal Malik, Vice-President of JKMEGA, presented the vote of thanks. Other notable speakers included Nissar Ahmad Lone, Er. Nadeem Akbar Najar, Er. Tabish Beigh, Er. Irfan Ahmad Reshi, Er. Kaiser Khurshid Wani, Er. Irfan Ahmad, Er. Ansar Hamid Sheikh, Er. Reyaz Ahmad Khan & Er. Mushtaq Ahmad Hakeem.
