Two J&K private hospitals to be fined for violating AB-PMJAY norms

JAMMU, MARCH 14: The District Grievance Redressal Committee for Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, presided over by District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya, has recommended that the State Health Agency impose fines on two hospitals for violating norms of the Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY scheme.

The committee found these hospitals guilty of violating norms of the Government’s flagship health insurance program.

The meeting also addressed and sought to resolve other issues related to the health insurance scheme.
Present at the meeting were committee members, including the Chief Medical Officer, the Assistant Commissioner Development, the District Grievances Nodal Officer and other concerned officers.
