Srinagar: Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF), while congratulating Mohammad Iqbal Khan for assuming the charge as President Lal Chowk Traders Federation, has hoped that he would take immediate steps to get the issues of shopkeepers & business fraternity of Lal Chowk resolved.
In a congratulatory statement, Haji Mohammad Yaseen Khan extended great wishes to the team and expressed its hope that the newly elected body would safeguard the interests of business community. Khan said, “that Iqbal Khan had to address the issues being faced by the business community. He hoped that the incumbent President would utilize his best abilities for the growth of the business sector in the area. Lal Chowk market has its historical importance and has a great business activity where people all over the valley throng for shopping, Khan added.
Pertinently Lal Chowk Traders Elections were held today under the supervision of KTMF. Senior members of KTMF Rafiq Ahmad Zargar, Ajaz Ah Khan & Nisar Ah Shahdar were present at election booth throughout the day to monitor as observers.
