Srinagar: A delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industries met with the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohiudin Bhat on Friday. The meeting, led by Co-Chair Himayu Wani, proved productive and interactive, focusing on collaboration for the district’s economic development, a PHDCCI statement issued here said.
EC members Haleem Bhat, Bilal Kawoosa, Shabir Abdullah, S Ahamd Shah, and Iqbal Fayaz Jan joined the discussions.
During the meeting, PHDCCI pledged unwavering support in policy advocacy and providing valuable inputs.
Key issues that were discussed during the meeting include establishing a GI Mart, leveraging the UNESCO tag for Srinagar, and addressing enforcement and revenue concerns.
Dr. Mohiudin actively listened to the delegation’s concerns and assured prompt action. He emphasized his open-door policy and commitment to community engagement.
PHDCCI expressed gratitude for his receptiveness and confidence in his leadership.
