SCERT releases Class 8th date sheet for J&K students

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training has released the date sheet for the annual examinations of Class 8th students for the academic session 2023-2024. As per an official notification received by Ziraat Times,  the exams will be conducted from March 5 to April 10, 2024, in two phases:

Phase I: For students in I-Soft zone areas, the exams will be held from March 5 to March 26, 2024.

Phase II: For students in II-Hard zone areas, the exams will be held from March 26 to April 10, 2024.

The subjects that will be covered in the exams include English, Hindi/Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Regional Languages. The exams will be held in the morning session, starting at 11:00 AM.

The exams will be conducted at the complex centers identified by the respective District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs).

The candidates are advised to strictly adhere to all the instructions for appearing in the examination.

They must carry their admit cards on all days of the examination for verification.

The complex heads will ensure that all the SOPs for the conduct of the examination are followed in letter and spirit.

The release of the date sheet comes as a relief to students and parents who have been eagerly waiting for it. JKBOSE has made arrangements to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly and fairly.
