
Srinagar, 5 July: In order to woo tourists from the island country Sri Lanka, a Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) delegation of 21 members headed by Honorary Treasurer Irshad Hazari left for Volimbi today to have one-to-one interaction with SLIATO members on the sidelines of the TAAI Convention taking place from 06-09 July, a statement issued to Ziraat Times said today.
The delegation has members from both Kashmir & Jammu regions along with the icons of J&K and Ladakh tourism industry and founder members of TAAI – JKC Chapter, Akram Siah, Nasir Shah & Showkat Pakhtoon besides a few young participants from Kashnir & Jammu regions are also participating.
The most senior member of J&K travel trade and a prominent tour operator, Amrik Singh, from Jammu, is also part of the TAAI delegation, as per the statement.
