Kashmir Angel Network felicitates promising business startups

Srinagar, June 10: Kashmir Angel Network (KAN) 9n Saturday hosted a felicitation program for the startups selected during the Ganderbal Youth Entrepreneurship Festival at IHM, Rajbagh. The District Administration Ganderbal organised the festival from 15th-21st May, in which Kashmir Angel Network was Technical Agency/ Knowledge Partner for the Program. Today’s event was dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship and startup development in the region, showcasing Kashmiri youth’s exceptional talent and entrepreneurial spirit.

One of the significant attractions of today’s program was an exclusive masterclass on Blue Ocean Strategy by Professor Shivakanth Upadhyaya from Harvard University. The Masterclass was moderated by Dr Ashfaqul Ahad, a serial entrepreneur. The masterclass on Blue Ocean Strategy, a groundbreaking business strategy approach focused on creating uncontested market space. Professor Upadhyaya’s session empowered participants with practical applications and tools to identify new market opportunities and drive growth for their startups.

The felicitation of the Startups was done by Shabir Handoo, Chairman Kan, Prof Saad Parvez, Head IIED Centre, NIT and Prof. Pervez Mir, Director, CIED Islamic University.

KAN expressed its gratitude to sponsors, including Cred Integrated Agro Pvt Ltd., for their generous support in making the program and masterclass possible. Their contribution has played a vital role in empowering the Kashmiri youth and fostering regional entrepreneurship.
