SKUAST-Kashmir formally launches 4 student and faculty-led agri startups

Srinagar, March 5:  Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir has launched four new student and faculty startups in an event held during the two-day farm mela at Shalimar campus.

The startups, incubated by SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre, are Kashmin Innovations Pvt Ltd, SeriKon Innovations Pvt Ltd, BB&GG  and Zeeba Biotec.

These new startups have been mentored and nurtured by SKIIE Centre & IDP NAHEP Team of the university.

Advisor to Lt Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, inaugurated the startups in the presence of Mayor Srinagar Junaid Mattu, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K Prof Nazir Ahmad Ganai and other guests present at the occasion.

The ceremony was coordinated by team IDP Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell led by Prof Azmat Alam Khan, OSD to VC and Co-PI NAHEP, SKUAST-K.

These startups have received seed money from BIRAAC BIG and other renowned organisations in the country.
