Property Tax: PHDCCI J&K welcome government’s feedback move, to engage stakeholders

Srinagar, March 13: The PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) Jammu & Kashmir has welcomes Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s move to seek  feedback from the public over the proposed property tax.

In a joint statement issued to Ziraat Times, Chair of Jammu region Rahul Sahai and Chair of Kashmir region Vicky Shaw said  the multistakeholder decision making with the direct involvement of citizens in the process of decision making is crucial and,  therefore, be seen as an evolution toward a more participative, and even deliberative way for inclusive growth.

“Against this backdrop the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of PHDCCI is in discussion with various stakeholders of residential and commercial establishments in Jammu as well as in Kashmir region and will be putting up suggestions to LG Manoj Sinha ji for his kind considerations”, the joint statement added.
