Srinagar, Feb 26: The PHDCCI Kashmir has expressed its deepest sympathies and sorrow on the killing of Bank Security Guard Sanjay Kumar Sharma in Pulwama today.
“We condemn, in the strongest terms, the incident, which are against all human and Islamic norms”, PHDCCI Kashmir said in a press statement adding that ‘no right thinking follower of Islam and human being could possibly condone such an action’.
“The Qur’an equates the murder of one innocent person with the murder of the whole of humanity. We pray for the family of Sanjay Kumar in this unthinkable act of terrorism; and we hope to reflect the feelings of all our members and people around us whose sympathies go out to the victim at this sorrowful moment”, the statement added.
“As a human community we must be vigilant and careful to oppose these pernicious and shameless evils, which are not justified by any sane logic, nor by the religion of Islam. Such dastardly acts have no place in a our society. PHDCCI demands to J&K administration to take all necessary steps to ensure that the culprits are captured and punished immediately”, it further said.
