PHDCCI Kashmir, KTMF, CCIK, KTA remember Jan Mohammad Koul for his services, express sympathies with family

Srinagar, Feb 3: Pominent businessman Jan Muhammad Koul’s demise has been received with immense grief and shock across Kashmir’s business community.

Several business and trade organisations, while recalling Mr Jan for his personal qualities and his services to Kashmir’s business interests, have expressed condolences to the bereaved family. Ziraat Times management has also expressed its condolences on Mr Jan’s untimely demise amd expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

In a condolence meeting of PHD Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Kashmir, the members expressed their grief over the sad demise. The Chair of PHDCCI Kashmir Vicky Shaw, while condoling the death of the late Jan Muhammad Kaul, expressed his deep sympathy and solidarity with the members of the bereaved family in this hour of grief. It was stated that the deceased was a rare leader who earned the love and admiration of the people for his straightforwardness, sense of community service, innate simplicity and honesty, besides being a good professional bussiness man, was a noble human being, polite, humble and has always remained social and helpful to the traders and bussiness community and society in general and young entrepreneurs in particular.

It was prayed that may Almighty Allah grant solace and peace to the departed soul and give patience to the members of the bereaved family to bear the loss.

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (CCIK) has condoled the demise of Mr Jan, who also happened to be an executive committee member of CCIK.

Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family, President CCIK Tariq Ghani and office bearers expressed shock over the sudden demise of Jan Mohammad Koul. CCIK said Mr Koul was a noble soul, trade leader and respected citizen of valley. The death of Jan Mohmmad Koul is a huge losee to business community and people of Kashmir. CCIK prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. His death has left a big void in trade, commerce and industry, he added.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Traders Alliance (KTA) has also condoled the demise of Jan Muhammad Koul.
Expressing sympathy with bereaved family, President KTA, Ajaz Shahdhar expressed shock over the demise of Koul.
“Jan Sahab was our mentor who was respected by all in the business fraternity for his behavior and conduct. He was Kashmir’s veteran trader who had served and led prominent trader bodies in the Valley.”

KTA prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
His death has left has a big void in business fraternity of Kashmir.

In an emergency meeting called under the Chairmanship of Sajjad Gul General Secretary Kashmir Traders And Manufacturers Federation, the management KTMF expressed grief over the death of Haji Jan Mohammad Koul, who was also an Advisor to KTMF.

In a statement, General Secretary KTMF Sajjad Gul described the deceased as a pious soul whose contribution towards the upliftment of the trade would be forever remembered. It is pertain to mention here as Bashir Ahmed Rather President KTMF is out of station, through an immediate telephone call, condoled & said it saddens him to announce the untimely death of their beloved Advisor KTMF Haji Jan Mohammad Koul Sahib,
Chief Advisor KTMF.  Nissar Shahdhar Sahib prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members in this hour of loss.

The Traders Association Lal Chowk Koker Bazaar President Farooq Batqoo also condoled the sad demise of late Jan Koul.

President, along with all the executive members, namely Ajaz Sultan Bhat, Hilal Ahmad Kuchay, Waseem Dar, Irshad Mir, Shabir Ahmad Wani Riyaz Comrade Farooq Pampori and Faheem Khursheed of the traders Association conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
