Srinagar, December 5 – Polling for the By-poll of District Development Council seats of Hajin-A (Bandipora) and Drugmulla(Kupwara) has started. Hajin DDC constituency recorded a percentage of 11.18 and Drugmulla 4.7 upto 9am.
The State Election Commissioner has appealed voters to come out and cast their votes without any fear and strengthen the democratic process by participating in large numbers.
Meanwhile, polling has also started in the polling booths set up for migrants in Jammu at Jagti and Patta Bohri.
