New Delhi, Oct 21: Prominent businessmen of Kashmir and Jammu regions, A P Vicky Shaw and Rahul Sahai were on Friday appointed as chairpersons for prestigious PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry for Kashmir and Jammu regions respectively.
PHDCCI Patron and prominent businessman Mushtaq Chaya and former Kashmir chair Baldev Singh have congratulated Vicky Shah and Rahul Sahai on their appointment.
Pertinently, it is Rahul Sahai’s consecutive term as Jammu chair, while Vicky Shaw earlier held the position of co-chair for PHDCCI in Kashmir region.
A P Vicky Shah is Managing Director of East India Co, which has wide business interests in wholesale, retail, carpets, handicrafts. He also runs DMC PVT LTD, a travel company. Mr Vicky business interests include SHAW ART PALACE, one of Srinagar’s most prominent retail outlets of carpets, shawls and handicrafts. Mr Shaw is also ex-president of Professional Golfers Association of India.
Rahul Sahai is the second generation CMD of Sahai Group of Companies and son of a veteran business leader, late Ram Sahai, having more than 25 years of experience in policy advocacy and people management. He is also heading the Transport Nagar Association of Jammu. He has been closely associated with PHDCCI for almost 30 years. Mr Sahai has also been the Chairman of CII J&K Council and has led several other organisations in J&K.
Meanwhile, Rahul Sahai has thanked Saket Dalmia National President of PHDCCI and leadership in Delhi for reposing their trust in him to continue to represent Jammu region in the chamber.
