Kashmir chapter of World Sikh Chamber of Commerce launched

Srinagar, 23 Aug: The Kashmir  chapter of the World Sikh Chamber of Commerce (WSCC) was launched at a grand function at Srinagar’s Tagore Hall.

Dr. Parmeet Singh Chadha, Founder & President of World Sikh Chamber of Commerce (WSCC) was guest of honour of the event. S.Harvinder Singh IAS (SDM) Uri was the Chief Guest & S. Nariender Singh IAS was Special Guest at the event.

WSCC  is a premier multi-stakeholder community of visionary Sikhs who are committed to shape our community’s future and society at large, a spokesperson told Ziraat Times.

The event, which witnessed participation of 200 plus businessmen, professionals and youth, was jointly organised by WSCC Kashmir Chapter and SEWADARS group. Unifying Turbans for Growth was the theme of the event.

Hardeep Singh Dutta, WSCC Kashmir Coordinator, Jagmeet Kaur Bali- Media Coordinator WSCC, Engineer Dara Singh and Raminder Pal singh Sarna of SEWADARS group were the key organisers of the event.

Dr Chadha, in his speech, said that WSCC endeavours to be a catalyst in shaping the future for our business fraternity and society at large.Your Network is your Networth, he added.

Jasmeet Singh Chandhok and Jagmohan Singh Bhogal conducted sessions on life skills and opportunities of the 21st century. There were Bhangra performances by students of GND Boarding School Tral.

“In a short span of three years, WSCC has set various benchmarks and has been a part of many success stories. WSCC is the first and single largest organization of prominent Sikh Businessmen, Industrialists, Entrepreneurs and Professionals in India and abroad, evolving with changing times”, WSCC  spokesperson added.

WSCC, with a vision of economic & social growth of the community and society at large, has envisaged various projects in the fields of Economic Empowerment, Knowledge and Service. The idea of Sarbat da Bhalla, welfare for all, serves as the foundational core principle of WSCC. Sikhs play a significant role in nation-building; we place a strong emphasis on both community and national development, the spokesperson said.
