Ensure adequate supply of essentials during Ramdhan: CCIK to Govt

Srinagar, Apr 2: Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) has urged the administration to keep enough supply of essentials in the Kashmir region in the month of Ramadan.

In a statement, President CCIK Tariq Rashid Ghani said in of the holy month of Ramadan, sufficient stock of supplies should be maintained in the market included mutton, dates and fruits which are consumed in good quantities during this month.

Ghani also urged the administration to keep check on profiteering in the Valley markets besides regulating the traffic during evening rush hours.

“People rush towards homes at Iftaar which may create traffic jams. We request to the traffic department to regulate the traffic in the evening so that devotees reach home on time for Iftaar,” said CCIK
