KFPA organises FoSTac training programme

Srinagar, Mar 20: Kashmir Food Processor’s Association (KFPA) organised a one-day FoSTaC (Training and Certification) programme in collaboration with the office of the Commissioner Food and Drug Administration J&K.

As per the statement issued to Ziraat Times, during the day-long programme various aspects of the food safety and standards Act was discussed and ways to implement in true spirit. Hilal Ahmed Mir (Asst. Commissioner FSSAI) was the chief guest on the occasion and Food Safety Officers of Kashmir Valley, President of FCIK  Shahid Kamli were guests of honour.

The training was attended by the President of KFPA, Mr Isaaq Choudary; Past President, Mr Shahjahan; Office Bearers and members of KFPA, Participants from SKUAST, SKIMS, and various food manufacturers from valley dealing with spices, milk and milk products, bakery, fruits and vegetables.
