Centre presents Rs 1,12,950 crore budget for J&K

Srinagar, Mar 14: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday unveiled Rs 112950 crore budget for Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory for 2022-23 in the Lok Sabha.

Of Rs 112950 crore budget estimates, Rs 71615 crore is revenue expenditure and Rs 41335 crore is capital expenditure.

As per budget documents, the estimates of budget for ongoing fiscal has been revised to Rs 102445 crore from Rs 108621 crore.

This was the third budget of J&K presented in the parliament after August 5, 2019 when Centre read down Article 370 and reorganized the erstwhile state of J&K into two UTs.
