Allow few shoppers to park vehicles: Traders urge SSP Traffic

Srinagar: The Traders Federation Karanagar has appealed to the SSP Traffic to reconsider its decision that disallows parking of vehicles in the markets.

During a meeting of the Traders Federation Karanagar held here that was presided over by the president of the body Ajaz Shahdhar, issues related to the row over parking of vehicles at the bazaar were discussed.

The members appealed to SSP Traffic to reconsider its decision and allow a few buyers to park their vehicles for some period of time.

He said their financial and economic situation had deteriorated, and now buyers had stopped coming to the markets due to the traffic police operations. He said that this has directly affected their business.

Shahdhar said he was hopeful that the SSP Traffic will reconsider the decision and give some relaxation.
“The SSP Traffic has already given us some relaxation and we are thankful for the same. We are hopeful that he will give us more relaxations so that our businesses are not affected,” he said.

The Traders Federation Karanagar General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Coordinator and Organizing Secretary were also present in the meeting.
