Worrying trend in Covid in J&K: 14 deaths, 6570 cases, 12.16% bed occupancy

SRINAGAR, JAN 25: Covid19 has assumed a worrying trend in J&K today with 14 deaths, 6570 positive cases and slight increase hospital bed occupancy to 12.16%

According to the daily official bulletin received by Ziraat Times, 6570 new positive cases of COVID-19, 1555 from Jammu division and 5015 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, marking a sharp rise in cases in Kashmir division.

Out of the 14 Covid deaths reported in the last 24 hours; 7 are from Jammu Division and 7 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 3789 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1278 from Jammu Division and 2511 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 409166 positive cases, 47376 are Active Positive (13812 in Jammu Division and 33564 in Kashmir Division).
