DAK deplores violence against doctors in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 10: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has deplored the recent incidents of violence against doctors in Kashmir.

In a statement to Ziraat Times, DAK President, Muhammad Yusuf Tak said that there have been unfortunate incidents of voilence on doctors particularly female doctors in the name of negligence, which is deplorable.

“We request people to follow the law and don’t resort to holiganism. We are committed to the care of our patients and even we do not vehemently refuse negligence”, he said.

“We request any affected patients to please follow law and allow us to serve you better” he said cautioning that the stringent law regarding violence on doctors as per honorable supreme court ruling may apply with  consequences.”
